Corporate Profile

Carine Lacroix is an HR professional who founded Reneshone Corp. in early 2018. Bringing a unique analytics-driven approach to the discipline of HR, she is a successful entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience in this field. What sets Carine apart are two things:
       1) Her unique expertise in optimizing human capital – people – from recruitment to  retention, and
       2) Her ability to develop and analyze data-driven metrics, and align this with an organization’s core business strategy.
The name ‘Reneshone’ comes from the word ‘Renaissance’ and the past participle of the verb ‘to shine’ – targets firms employing from five to 3,000 people. The process involves a metrics-based ideology that is strategic and tactical, and built on the two pillars of human capital and business development. The key is using data to help an organization empower its people and optimize revenue, and this involves all aspects of HR including total rewards, recruiting, support and coaching.
Carine believes that HR is both an art and a science but typically the art or ‘soft’ side of HR is emphasized, while the science or ‘hard data analytic’ side of HR is minimized. She has a background in both sides of the business and serves her clients with a focus on data. Metrics, when used properly with HR, can link the productivity of an organization’s workforce to actual results, effectively making HR a profit centre as opposed to a cost centre. Solid metrics empower and enable the leadership team so they can better estimate risks, attract and retain the best people, increase productivity, and drive employee engagement to new heights.
According to a 2018 Gallup poll, 85% of employees around the world are not engaged or actively disengaged at work. This is also a problem in Canada where lack of engagement costs business $350 billion a year in lost productivity. But building productive workplaces through results-focused employee programs can boost employee acquisition, retention and performance, and put success on the fast track.
Reneshone can help an organization in many ways. This includes:
  • Creating a tailored total rewards strategy that is aligned to the business needs

  • Building the foundation for a solid culture, and keeping the team happy and motivated

  • Improving employee communications

  • Recruiting and retaining world-class talent

  • Decreasing absenteeism

  • Optimizing employee performance and enhancing productivity

  • Making decisions based on data and measuring program results with accuracy
